National Green Party Sacrifices Credibility for Gender Cult
In a series of votes taken over the past month,
Green National Committee Virtue Signals for TQ+ Lobby
Ignores overwhelming opposition of voting public
to demands of men who identify as women

In a series of votes conducted last month, the Green National Committee “strayed further from the moorings of material reality to parrot the talking points of the lobby for gender ideology on a number of questions, undermining the party’s once strong positions on questions of women’s rights and liberation,” said Denice Traina, co chair of the Green Alliance for Sex-Based Rights.

Among the most egregious changes of those made to the national party platform, was GNC #1213, undermining the party’s once strong position in support of the Nordic or Abolitionist model for the state regulation of prostitution.  In 2018, prior to the 2021 purging of feminists from the national Green Party, an earlier attempt (GNC #912) to repeal the Platform’s support for the abolition of prostitution was overwhelmingly defeated by those who would soon become a target of a purge driven by weaponized wokeness.

In this year’s platform revision cycle, with feminist voices within the party silenced, the Green National Committee passed on a 70-0-2 vote language to support “decriminalizing sex for pay by consenting adults”, making the false claim that “(p)olicies of decriminalizing both the seller and purchaser of sex have shown the potential to reduce harm to workers but the data is not conclusive regarding whether they increase trafficking.”  In fact, the peer reviewed data, particularly the New Zealand government’s own review of its prostitution decriminalization act shows  increased harm to women in prostitution, who now have fewer legal protections under the new legal structure.  Mounting evidence from New Zealand and Germany have demonstrated a positive correlation between legalizing pimping and pandering and the trafficking of women and children.  And data from Sweden shows that demand side criminalization protects women from trafficking.

In another proposal (GNC #1219) adopted by the National Committee, the National Women’s Caucus sponsored changes to the national party platform putting Greens on record as “affirm(ing) the womanhood of . . . transgender women”.  Years before the full purge of feminists by the national party, the assault had begun in the women’s caucus with men demanding a change to its membership rules to permit their full participation.  For years now men have held leadership positions within the Green Party’s women’s caucus, and feminists within its ranks have been silenced and purged.  A man named Cynthya BrianKate cast one of two NWC votes in favor of this change which was adopted on a 66-0-2 vote on July 28th, 2024.
